Death For Tookie?
Gribbit's Word ^ | December 2, 2005 | Gribbit

The Hollywood guilty left is on the save Tookie band wagon. But let us remember who Stanley "Tookie" Williams actually is.

Williams is the founder of the Crips. One of the most dangerous street gangs in America. They have "chapters" in every major and some medium sized cities in this country. And are responsible for hundreds of murders annually. Had this individual never have started this gang, these murders wouldn't have occurred.

Next, he's been convicted of 3 counts of murder in the 1st degree:

Warning graphic photos

Victim #1 Albert Owens Victim #2 Tsai-Shai Yang Victim #3 Ye-Chin Lin

This isn't a Saint. He is a cold blooded murderer who has to this point never acknowledged that he committed these murders. He has shown no remorse for his actions.

Snoop Dog and the rest of the ultra wealthy liberal guilt in Hollywood are lobbying Gov. Schwarzenegger to commute Williams' sentence to life in prison. They are pointing to Williams' multiple nominations for the Nobel Peace Prize as proof of value for this monster. Albert Nobel would turn in his grave knowing that Williams had been nominated for his Peace Prize. Nobel was a pacifist.

Email Gov. Schwazenegger and urge him to allow the execution of this monster to continue.

For the pix, Yahoo said it was a private page and I did not have permission to access.

I changed the setting on those 3 pics. I only made them private so that some kid browsing through flickr didn't see them. But they are important, so take a look now.

Thank you, and you were right to restrict them. Those are horrible. I doubt that Mike Farrell (sp), who just finished arguing with Hannity about this, has seen these. What a monster Williams is.

Remember Karla Faye Tucker? She hatched her victims to death, became a believer while in prison, then Robertson decided she should be given clemency. Same story. Different cast. Repentance does not mean reprieve. Tookie and Tucker still have a debt to pay. The lesson to all is that there are severe consequences for breaking the law. Executing those who murder is a justice that is also a deterrent.

I thought Tucker was the Texas woman, and that it was then Governor Bush who refused clemency. I thought she was put to death. No?

Yes. She was put to death. But the irony is that it was conservative Christians that petitioned Bush for clemency. Wierd. If Tookie had become born again, Snoop Dog would be pulling the switch.

Nobel was a pacifist.

I always chuckle at the irony that Nobel invented dynamite.

Yes he did. But he did so because of death. He found a way to stablize Nitro Glycerine (sp?) which produced TNT known as dynomite. He was horrified that his product would be used to kill. So upon his death, his amassed fortune was to be used to fund prizes in excellence in various academic subjects and the famous Peace Prize.

At least Nobel felt guilt, Tookie does not.

I gotcha now, and I agree with your point. I just got a little confused when you said that Tookie and Tucker "still" have a debt to pay. No biggie. After he meets his maker, this guy needs to meet his master.

Waiting for the bleeding-heart FReepers to post the usual pro-Tookie talking points, as they have done on previous Tookie threads.

You are correct. After posting I noticed the have/had was missing. I'm not so sure Tookie will meet his maker on the 13th. Arnold is pretty upset with his base. We left him in the dust on this last California election. And though a fiscal conservative, I think he's a social liberal.

Moral superiority and absolution is automatically granted to anyone who embraces the liberal feel good fuzzies. Which makes a heinous crime relative.

I didn't know his invention was sparked (HA!) by many people blowing themselves up with unstable nitro. That makes a lot more sense. Thanks for the background.

One doesn't need to hate the guy. We hate the idea of his conduct and his past life style. The sentence should be carried out because we repose ultimate faith in our criminal juries and the appellate processes. That said, we ought to just say:

Though Heavens May Fall, Let Justice be Done.

Well, I don't hate the guy. Jesus says not to. I called him a monster because of what he did AND because he stands behind what he did. In his being unrepentant, he is saying that whatever he was doing while the murders were being committed was perfectly good. Karla Faye was open about everything she did. So, while what Karla did was "monstrous", she was not a monster at the end.

Yeah, we left Arnold out to dry in the gubernatorial election, and the guy's been nothing but faithful nonetheless. He needs backing against the Cali lefties, and I'm not willing to see him replaced.
