10. I think weather control techniques have advanced a lot since the cloud seeding for Woodstock.
You probably can't create a hurricane but at this time of year mother nature will do that no problem. All you need to do is nudge it an a particular direction.

So, several of you, please make a copy of this thread -- all you have to do is choose Save Page As under the File Menu across the very top of your browser, choose a good name for it, make sure it's in an appropriate file type (html? php?) and in a place where you can find it on your harddrive again, and click Save.,br>[This strange ranger probably thinks the VRWC is doing it, but it's really the DU moderators trying to keep the fruitcakes under control]

113. OK. This has been bothering me for two days I realize that this is a little off from your thread, so please bare with me. As time wore on and it began to look as though bush*inc had an agenda, this thought has been nagging me.
What if those levees had help in failing? I know it is more than possible that their failure was due to the stress of the storm surge. It just keeps nagging me that maybe when it looked like NO was going to be spared someone had a hand in dealing the death blow to the city?
