The Gunny Is Starting To Freak Out

Posted on 08/11/2005 2:24:47 PM PDT by GunnyBob

It would appear I am a psychic, which is not to be confused with a psycho. I am really starting to freak out.

On April 19, 2004, I published a column on Men's News Daily saying the 9-11 Commission would fail for a multitude of reasons, one of which was a blatant conflict of interest regarding commission member and rabid Clintonista Jamie Gorelick. I wrote: “Back in the 1990s, Jamie Gorelick was a bureaucrat who was instrumental in preventing the Central Intelligence Agency and Federal Bureau of Investigation from sharing crucial intelligence on terrorist activity. Now she is investigating herself, which is a clear conflict of interest, but she refuses to resign.”

It was revealed this week by Congressman Curt Weldon that the 9-11 commission was twice given intelligence on a top-secret Department of Defense intelligence unit in 2000 called Able Danger that identified Mohammed Atta and three of his cell members as al Qaeda terrorists likely planning attacks in America. Commission co-chair and former Democratic Congressman Lee Hamilton, another Clintonista, first adamantly denied his commission received that intelligence and demanded to know why the Pentagon was hiding it from the commission. Now he and Gorelick are scrambling for cover as calls grow for a major investigation of the 9-11 Commission to determine if Gorelick and Hamilton intentionally hid the intelligence that showed the Clinton Administration knew an al Qaeda cell was in the USA and refused to do a damn thing about it, resulting in the worst terror attack in the history of mankind. Yes, the commission had the intelligence that would have shown the Clinton Administration’s negligence allowed the 9-11 attacks and it appears now that some Democrats on the commission may have kept the intelligence from the Republican commission members. Do you think Jamie Gorelick and the Clintons suppressed the intelligence?

The Clinton Administration always denied knowing anything about al Qaeda being here. Now two Clinton supporters from the 9-11 Commission have been implicated in a scandal that could range from dereliction of duty and professional negligence to a conspiracy to suppress evidence in order to protect their pal and former president Bill Clinton, who was apparently too busy having sex with an intern in an Oval Office broom closet than to protect America.

Do we want an investigation into the failings of the 9-11 Commission? Do we want the investigation to try to determine if Clinton himself knew of the al Qaeda cell? After all, as the saying goes from the Watergate scandal, what did the president know and when did he know it? I want a special prosecutor appointed to fully investigate the 9-11 Commission to get to the bottom of this deadly scandal. I said in my column in April 2004 that Jamie Gorelick was a snake in the grass. She was instrumental in preventing the FBI and CIA from sharing intelligence and now she has been implicated in a possible coverup that could reveal her role in the 9-11 attacks being made possible.

Do we want President Clinton to be deposed by a special prosecutor? If he says he knew nothing about the intelligence, would you believe him? Do we suspect Hillary was involved in this coverup? If Hamilton or Gorelick deny all this, would you believe them? If they are investigated, charged and found guilty of conspiracy to suppress evidence, what punishment would seem fair to you?

Do we want another 9-11 commission, this one totally non-partisan, to be created so the truth about 9-11 can finally be revealed? Or should we just let bygones be bygones?

When I saw the title of this article, I thought you were referring to R. Lee Ermey.

Nothing psychic about it. Freepers were all over this on the live 9/11 Commission thread about Gorelick both before and after Ashcroft's bombshell testimony.

"...what did the president know and when did he know it?"

And -- What did Sandy Berger steal and why did he steal it?

I say let's go after the lying, cheating, philandering, worthless, good-for-nothing so-and-so.

Where do I send my contribution?

Weldon is calling for an investigation into a major scandalous coverup involving the Clintons and 3,000 dead Americans.

Every news channel is reporting it.

That's not breaking news? The news channels say it is.

Gore-lick's role is documented to the hilt in the FR file archives and all this hubbub is just an "I told you so" on our part.

Moving right along to your call for non-partisanship on another investigation... I'm pretty fed up with nonpartisan committees. The party with the biggest mouth, the loudest grunts, and the TV friendly coverage wins the day. And that equals more BS!

I'd love for a fully partisan bulldog to investigate this nonpartisan commission and lay out indisputable facts neither side can twist before openly publishing the findings.

But that'll never happen. And it dam sure never will happen while we have even a single career politician in office.

There has to be an investigation, who knew what, when. NOT investigating would be criminal IMO. We need to know the truth. The democrats don't get a pass, no matter how much they cry. (How's the saying go?: What's good for the goose is good for the gander.) It's not just about a former president's legacy, or "THE PARTY'S" desperation to hold on and try to regain power.

The American people have a right to know what role the person, and party, they elected to office prior to 9/11, played in the intelligence failures that led to 9/11.

As I recall president Bush was delayed in taking office because of dem obstructions i.e. the election protests into Dec. of 2000, they wouldn't give the Bush team the keys to offices, they held hearing after hearing of his nominees, and they completely trashed the White House- these are not the actions of people taking threats to national security, and the American people, seriously-Able Danger.

That's the problem with the democrat party in a nutshell. Bill was getting BJ's from Monica in the White House, and scheming for his personal glory/gain- corruption after corruption- when he should have taken the duties of his Office seriously.

It's my hope and prayer that NEVER AGAIN, will our citizens claim that "character doesn't matter" when electing a presidential candidate.
