Just learned from a Korean friend that Ted Turner is visiting North Korea next month to discuss turning the DMZ into a Park. (This is not a joke!). The North Koreans have agreed to meet with the former CNN founder to discuss his ideas on a revamp of the most heavily fortified and land mined area in the world. Im having a very difficult time adjusting to the idea that the DMZ, will become a park of "Peace". .......

A nature preserve with Land Mines? Go Ted and remember to walk with your hands over your ears when you go for a stroll so the loud noise from the explosion does not distract you.

I served with 1st Battalion 506th Infantry Rgt. (Air Assault) at Camp Greaves in Korea. We were just a mile and a half from the DMZ. Conditions were so bad there that going to field was actually a step up in luxury. I see no way that Ted Turner's dream could ever be realized. But then these liberals have always had visions of Kumbaya, lollipops and puppies, so it is not completely unexpected.

With Howard Dean the dems have formally graduated from "disarray" to "debacle", with "irretrievable disaster" just around the corner.

What a great idea!

Can we do the same with Streisand, Alec Baldwin, ... where's my list...

PS... does this mean we get to secure the borders?

Hey, he can turn all of N. Korea into a park once KIJ finishes starving, shooting and chasing off his own population.
