Dali designed a funhouse for the 39 World's Fair? That must have been one hell of a fair! My parents went and all I have it a glass souvenir tumbler from it. The glass is art deco, one of my favorite styles, and I wish I could've been there, but I wasn't around at the time.
I'd recommend surfing to http://www.bookfinder.com to price search which bookseller has the best price.
As I say, "Salvador Dali's Dream of Venus: The Surrealist Funhouse from the 1939 World's Fair" (by Ingrid Schaffner)
has been remaindered now. List price was $60, I got mine for $20. Don't overpay if you don't have to.
It was the best new Dali book in probably a decade and the big brick and mortar stores all ignored it. I have no use for Barnes&Noble/Bookstop/Borders outside of the newsstand area and even that is a shadow of what it formerly was.
I don't know what the other book was called.
I'd recommend reading one of the books he wrote instead like "50 Secrets of Magic Craftmanship" or "Dali on Modern Art: The Cuckolds of Antiquated Modern Art"
