I just don't understand West Virginia. They voted for Bush in the 2004 election. Why do they have to elect a crazy one like Byrd?
"My daddy always voted Democrat. (But I vote for the man, which is why I voted for Bush.)"
"He brings home the bacon." (Not really as much since he's been in the minority, but having his name on it does make it look like he's doing more than he actually does.)
