Don't know about you, but I feel privileged to have been around when that was called comedy. Before the days of MTV and Comedy Central. Can you imagine South Park being on television in the 50's?  Ah, the old days eh?

i agree.
just look at red skelton.
he could do an hour stand-up routine and the most off color thing would be the girdle skit. never ever a curse word.
and guess what, he still got the laughs and you didn't have to feel uncomfortable with the kids in the room.
