That dog won't hunt for either side. Brains don't turn into fluid instantly. The tissue probably had to atrophy slowly to get into a fluid-like state.

After a brain injury, the brain doesn't automatically shrink to the damaged size, it takes time for the body to dispose of the excess cells.

Code Blue seems to not understand that the doctors were sued in part because their treatment of Terri for cardiac arrest was inappropriate given her bulimia and extremely low potassium levels. Had she received better treatment, she might never have become PVS.

That's interesting, but irrelevant. I doubt anything will ever happen to the estranged husband after all this time. The entire case is giving food and water to someone who's obviously alive. Focus.
