Massive Voter Registration Fraud Probed in Florida
Hobbsonline ^ | Oct. 2, 2004 | Bill Hobbs

The U.S. Justice Department and Florida state police are investigating widespread allegations of criminal vote fraud in Florida, reports Florida Today. (Scroll down for reports today from Wisconsin, Michigan and Colorado.)

Allegations range from phony voter registrations to forged party-affiliation change cards and absentee ballots. "Several law enforcement investigations are under way," wrote Elections Division Director Dawn Roberts in a Friday memo to election supervisors. Agency spokeswoman Alia Faraj said the Justice Department has agreed to review the allegations of vote fraud in Florida. She could not further discuss the active state and federal investigations.

A field director for one of the many national partisan organizations trying to drum up votes in Florida admits to routine efforts to rig the outcome. They include submitting thousands of invalid voter registration cards, as well as failing to turn in boxes of cards filled out to register Republicans.

"There was a lot of fraud committed," said Mac Stuart, former Miami-Dade field director for ACORN. Among his allegations - that ACORN "quality control" workers routinely kicked back Republican voter registrations while paying for Democratic ones. "They said they had enough," he said.

Stuart said he has been interviewed twice by an agent for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. That FDLE agent declined Friday to confirm his investigation. Florida law makes it a third-degree felony to interfere with someone's right to register as well as to pay a per-card solicitation fee for gathering registrations. Stuart says ACORN did both.

Stuart said ACORN officials at state headquarters in Tampa were aware of what was going on, and discouraged him from talking about it. He said he was ultimately fired as "a loose cannon."

While Republican registrations were ignored, Stuart said those of convicted felons were eagerly sought, even though by law they are ineligible until they are granted clemency by the state. Stuart set up registration tables outside the Miami police department and Dade County jail.

"We targeted them because ACORN had a goal: 103,000 new registrations from Dade County," Stuart said.

ACORN is a liberal partisan organization and Dade County is heavily Democratic. [Hat tip: Stuart Buck]

Surprise, surprise.

The post-election mess is going to be horrific and no one's going to trust the voting process. In a way I'm kinda glad it's happening; as it is now, anyone that can fog a mirror can cast a vote, citizenship or any other eligibility be damned. There's going to be plenty of heat after this to tighten-up the process.

Honest to God, I'm beginning to wonder if we'll be able to hold a valid election in a month. This could end up spilling out into the steets November 3rd. Liberals are the vilest creatures on this planet, and with all apologies to The Lord, if they try to steal this election, I'll be damned if I turn the other cheek.

Good ole Florida, a haven for criminal voter fraud. And if Bush wins there in spite of all of their efforts, they will claim some kind of disenfranchisement again. We will never be the same after Gore was allowed to pull his attempted coup there.

We are now going to pay big time for not pushing every case of vote fraud to the limit. Give an inch and lose a mile to these people.

This might be useful to someone:

How Democrats Steal Elections - Top 10 Methods of Liberal Vote Fraud

Over-Voting. In Democrat strongholds like St. Louis, Philadelphia and Detroit, some precincts had 100% of their registered voters voting, with 99% of the ballots going to Gore. Clearly, multiple voting resulted in extra tallies for Gore in the 2000 election. (New York Post, 12/09/00).

Dead Voters. This classic Democratic method of vote fraud goes all the way back to 1960 in Chicago and Dallas. The 2000 election was no exception. In Miami-Dade County, for example, some of the 144 ineligible votes (those which officials actually admitted to) were cast by dead people, including a Haitian-American who's been deceased since 1977 (Miami-Herald, 12/24/00).

Mystery Voters. These "voters" cast votes anyway but are not even registered to vote. In heavily Democratic Broward County, for example, more than 400 ballots were cast by non-registered voters. (Miami-Herald 1/09/01)

Military ballots. Many of these votes were disqualified for the most mundane and trivial reasons. At least 1,527 valid military ballots were discarded in Florida by Democratic vote counters (Drudge Report, 11/19/00).

Criminals. Felons are a natural Democratic voter and they're protected on voter rolls across the country. In Florida at least 445 ex-convicts - including rapists and murderers -- voted illegally on November 7th. Nearly all of them were registered Democrats. (Miami-Herald 12/01/00)

Illegal aliens. These voters have long been a core liberal constituency, especially in California. In Orange County in 1996, Rep. Bob Dornan had his congressional seat stolen from him when thousands of illegal aliens voted for Loretta Sanchez (Christian Science Monitor, 9/2/97).

Vote-buying. Purchasing votes has long been a traditional scheme by Democrats, and not just with money. In the 2000 election in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Democratic workers initiate a "smokes-for-votes" campaign in which they paid dozens of homeless men with cigarettes if they cast ballots for Al Gore (Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, 11/14/00).

Phantom Voters. These voters don't really exist, but their ballots do. In the 1996 Lousiana Senate race, GOP candidate Woody Jenkins had the election stolen from him when he discovered that 7,454 actual votes were cast but had no paper trail to authenticate them (Behind the Headlines, F.R. Duplantier, 4/27/97).

Dimpled chads. Those infamous punch-cards were a ballot bonanza for Al Gore. Democratic poll workers in Palm Beach, Dade and Broward counties tampered and manipulated thousands of ineligible ballots and counted them for Gore, even though no clear vote could be discerned. (NewsMax.com 11/27, 12/22, 11/18, 11/19/00).

Absentee ballots. Normally it's assumed that Republicans benefit from absentee ballots. But in the case of Miami's 1997 mayoral election, hundreds of absentee ballots were made for sale or sent out to non-Miami residents. Fraud was so extensive in the race that the final results were overturned in court (FL Dept. of Law Enforcement Report, 1/5/98).

All of the blame doesn't rest with Florida, there are many registered voters from other states that have been caught trying to vote in their home state and then voting a second time in Florida. This is a national problem, just like with drivers licences, there needs to be a national database for checks and balances.

I think most of us have known for quite awhile that Democrats will cheat to win. But I am more worried this election year than any other because of the pure hatred and ignorance many democrats have for Bush. I have no doubt they are committing fraud in this election and I think it's worse than in 2000. I agree we have to do everything we can to stop this fraud and bring it to public attention. We can't just talk about it if we aren't prepared to do whatever we can in our current position to fix the problem. I just hope that the Bush Campaign and the RNC are taking this very serious and have equal or even more resource's to find and prevent these things from happening before the election and on election day. We need an equal amount of lawyers at these polling places if not more. This is a very serious threat and I think the election fraud committed by the Democrats this election is worse than it has been in quite awhile. We have to do whatever it takes to prevent this and get President George W. Bush Re-elected this November.

I am glad they're discovering it now instead of after the election.

Then the Rats would be down there screaming "Disenfranchisement!"
