That's hilarious! Did you create that?
Also, did I mention that it's accurate?

In retrospect, we shouldn't have used the documents, and we clearly should have spent more time and more effort to authenticate them," Heyward admitted to The Washington Post.

um.......CBS admits it was working on this story for 5 or so years. If they thought these documents would put them over the top after 5 years, that means they had NOTHING in 5 years.

Some retrospect.

"The liberal media seems to think that it can put out anything and the public is gullible enough to believe it".

Yep, and when they get caught, all they have to do is have Dan Rather say "I'm sorry".

How about "I'm sorry I got caught trying to influence an election because I'm an old partisan liberal hack, and so is my producer, and we are lower then snake testicles".

Immediatly followed by who forged the documents and how deep the DNC (or anyone else) was in on it.

Think that's a bit of a leap? I bet Scott Peterson will be convicted on circumstantial evidence that is weaker then what we already know about this fiasco.

That's agreed. If CBS had been working on the story for 5 years, they definitely should have gotten it straight by now.

Another set for scandal. What if the DNC was involved in this one??

This was not a mistake in judgment -- it was a deliberate attempt to do damage to a president and affect an election.

EXACTLY. As a friend of mine said on another board, if Fox News had done it to Kerry, the lunatic left-wing fringe would be screaming bloody murder.

A lot of people are saying that they don't really care about what happened 30+ years ago. But look at what happened this month. Someone has used crude forged documents to convince one of the biggest news organizations in the world -- the network of Edwin R. Murrow -- to smear a sitting president during a war, with a presidential election less than two months away.

That's right. Kerry needs to move on from 30 years ago and face the beautiful Rathergate scandal that his faithfuls, every loyal to the liberal cause, created for him.

I have created a Kerry crossword. If I fax it, who can scan and post it?

Suggestion:
Why not scan it in yourself? If you don't have a scanner, take it to Kinko's or something. I don't think many people here would like to give out their fax numbers. No offense intended.

Sounds like fun, though!

My scanner doesn't work. A fax number can be sent to me by FReepmail so no one else will see it. Any takers?

I would, but I'm having the opposite problem; my fax machine is broken (for receiving)!

You can get a free fax number that comes to your computer at efax.com. It will let you get 20 pages a month free.

OK. Problem solved. I got an eFax number and I'll send it to you via PM.

And now, back to the regularly-scheduled thread banter.

They should make that into a T-shirt! They did the same for
"Watch CBS News?
I'd Rather not!"
