Doesn't James Moore live in Houston?
Hey, WHO is Burkett protecting? He said he used Conn's name FIRST to protect the real source. Conn quickly (as a US Government employee) distanced himself from Burkett, and then Burkett threw out the "Lucy Ramirez" name. Evidently he has no idea who Lucy Ramirez is...so why try to defend the source so vigorously??
Could be that Burkett used "Lucy Ramirez" to protect his old chum Conn who, as a DoD employee is not allowed, by The Hatch Act, to participate in any political activities.
If not Conn, then I say James Moore. Moore has been in close contact with Ben barnes recently, and Ben Barnes is on Kerry's campaign. They are all old Texas hands obsessed with the National Guard issue.
FOLLOW THIS: Lucy Ramirez is James Moore (Houston), Moore was working with Ben Barnes (Kerry Kamp). The planning started in Feb, but with the Kerry Kamp shakeup, and the "Fortunate Son" effort, and in the introduction of Carville and Begala into the campaign, the go-ahead to proceed was given. Burkett has to protect Moore, as only in Moore's book does Burkett come across as having any sanity.
The link does not show that particular Ramirez to be a dem fund raiser. That Lucy Ramirez is the executive director for a clinic. The fund raising that link shows is that whe help organize and raise funds for the clinic.
While it could be the same person....there is nothing in that link that idicates that.
