POW/MIA FAMILY MEMBERS AGAINST JOHN KERRY

John Kerry abandoned our husbands, sons, fathers, and brothers in favor of trade and normalization of relations with Vietnam. His actions paved the way for the further abandonment of POWs and MIAs from World War II, the Korean War, and the Cold War.

John Kerry, as chairman of the Senate Select Committee on POW/MIA Affairs, ordered the destruction of committee documents, blocked avenues of investigation, and misrepresented progress on the POW/MIA issue to justify lifting of the trade embargo against Vietnam.

Statement of POW/MIA FAMILY MEMBERS AGAINST JOHN KERRY

John Kerry betrayed our Prisoners of War and Missing In Action. (POW/MIAs). He betrayed our husbands, our sons, our brothers, our fathers and extended family members. As Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on POW/MIA Affairs, he and his staff advised Hanoi's communists government how to close POW/MIA cases, with little or no regard for the truth.

In November 1992, members of the Committee, led by Senator John Kerry, traveled to Hanoi. During that visit, Sr. Col. Pham Duc Dai turned over his wartime journal supposedly detailing the ambush, death and burial of four men, from the 196th Light Infantry Brigade. Dai described how he participated in the death and burial of the four Americans.

John Kerry was exuberant in his praise of Vietnamese cooperation. Using the revelations contained in the diary, Kerry called for further U.S. trade concessions to the Vietnamese and he announced that he had gotten an accounting of four men. The problem.... Dai lied. But Kerry never retracted his praise for Vietnamese "cooperation."

On October 26, 1993, Pulitzer Prize winning author Sydney H. Schanberg wrote" "Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts, in his haste to carry out his agenda of getting the While House to remove the embargo against Vietnam, has done some extraordinary things. One of his recurring feats has been to try to turn fiction into truth....."

John Kerry had one goal, to close the POW/MIA issue, and open trade with Vietnam.

Our opposition to John Kerry is not based on political motivation. We are the wives, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, sons, daughters and extended family members whose loved ones are the victims of John Kerry's rush to normalization relations with Vietnam.

The John Kerry we know, signs a report stating servicemen were left behind at the end of the Vietnam War, doesn't ask what happened to them, and rewards Vietnam for withholding the truth

John Kerry clearly demonstrated his priorities, placing trade with Vietnam over the truth about servicemen listed as Prisoner or Missing in Action. This is not a trait we want in a Commander-in-Chief.

John Kerry brought the Vietnam War into this campaign. So we say "Bring it On."

All we want is the truth and John Kerry, by his actions, has made this goal far more difficult to reach.

Therefore, it is our intent to make it far more difficult if not impossible for John Kerry to reach his goal.

Dedicated to the defeat of John F. Kerry, we are the families of American Servicemen listed as Prisoner of War or Missing in Action, left behind at the end of America's wars.

This is so predictable for anyone who knows Kerry's history. I can't believe the Dems nominated this nut case.

Did not Kerry's cousin Forbes sign lucrative real estate deals with Vietnam right after the pow/mia coverup?

Did Clinton suggest Kerry go with the "war hero" act ..??

And .. did Clinton suggest it on purpose knowing the S__t was going to hit the fan ..?? I believe with all my heart the Clintons want to totally destroy Kerry .. not just keep him from winning in 2004.

Is this why the Clintons have been silent .. are they enjoying watching their technique work ..??

There's also this: Congress Should Investigate: Did Foreign Contributions Sway Policy Toward Vietnam?

And it was reported that Frances Zwenig, Senator John Kerry's chief of staff for the now defunct Senate Select Committee on POW/MIAs, served for a short-time in the Vietnam interests section of Commerce until someone figured this might be viewed as a conflict of interest. As Kerry's aide, Zwenig, according to documents, coached the North Vietnamese to concoct plausible stories on the fate of POW/MIAs in order to show that Hanoi was cooperating to resolve the POW/MIA issue, a hurdle in the diplomatic dance to lift the trade embargo and renew relations with Vietnam.

Senator Kerry was caught on camera making a promise to the North Vietnamese communists that he would ensure that they weren't embarrassed by their concocted stories. Zwenig went on to serve with Madeleine Albright at the UN. Zwenig is now reportedly working with the Washington-based U.S.-Vietnam Trade Council, a group that lobbied heavily for lifting the trade embargo and renewing relations with Vietnam. Now their focus is to win most-favored nation (MFN) for the draconian communist regime in Vietnam, which recently burned a Buddhist Monastery in Hue and jailed the monks and nuns for advocating improved human rights, freedom of religion and democracy.

Yep! The year after his committee’s vote to give Communist Vietnam a clean bill of health, the strangest thing happened. In December 1992 Vietnam signed its first huge commercial deal worth at least $905 million to develop a deep-sea commercial port at Vung Tau to accommodate all the trade that was to come. It signed the deal with a company called Colliers International. At the time, the Chief Executive Officer of this company was C. Stewart Forbes. Name sound familiar? It should. He is Senator John F. Kerry’s cousin. What a coincidence!

Less widely noticed, when the Democratic Party decided to give Kerry a leg up towards its presidential nomination by holding its 2004 National Convention in Boston, certain big corporations rushed to pony up money for the Democratic event. One of the first of these rushing to fill Democratic coffers was Spaulding & Slye Colliers, the current corporate partnership involving Colliers International, which anted up $100,000.

Some are touting Schanberg...but don't forget Schanberg is also slamming Dick Cheney as collaborating with Kerry. Don't know what that's all about.

SKERRY WOULDN'T LIE?

AS IN, LIKE

The Pope wouldn't be Catholic . . .

Bears don't poop in the woods . . .

Shrillery isn't a traitorous, Machiavellian, homocidal power mongerer . . .

Billdo isn't a philanderer;

Scuba Teddy isn't a callous, traitorous, lying, globalist philanderer;

Boxerface isn't a callous, traitorous, lying, Communist, globalist out to destroy the USA as we know it;

Babs Striving-in-the-sand isn't a self-righteous, haughty, hypocritical, arrogant, Commie-come-lately, traitorous, mindless media stoolie for the globalists;

Dashdull isn't a blind, mindless Commie stoolie

. . .

Of course, for such ilk, lying comes about as often and compulsively as breathing.
