Too bad someone didn't think to "attack" this agry individuals ehaust and air intake with dangerous "dihydrogen monoxide"............properly applied by local professionals that were present the dozer would have been a paper weight and nothing more. But if swat has their toys and any possible reason to use em then they do. Too bad they didn't think before they "overkilled" this dummy.

Stay safe

I am not an expert on dozers, but it does seem strange that no one in the town of Granby, which is rural, knew anything about smothering a diesel engine. The air intake on most "Cats" is up out of the dust and dirt and thus easy to get to. I learned at a very early age the best way to stop a run away diesel was to take away the air supply. It seems like if nothing else, get a fire hose aimed directly up through the air intake of the pre-cleaner. But then again, maybe the local LEO wanted to try out their new toys and this was the opportunity.
