By the same logic amils have God with an unfaithful, adultrous wife who somehow becomes a spotless bride awaiting her Groom and Marriage. Sounds like a woman with MPD (multiple personality disorder).

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I don't regard the union between the LORD and Israel in the OT as a spiritual union. That union was voided by Israel. It is no more. There is a new union, which IS a spiritual union.

I find it interesting that you describe the marriage of OT Israel to the Lord as a spiritual union. Does it follow then, that since an entire generation died in the wilderness after Israel was led out of Egypt and the Lord swore in His wrath that they would not enter into his rest that the LORD executed his wife, His spiritual spouse. Does it follow that the LORD is spiritually united to a dead thing?
