And just what "treasures" do you mine that apply to us, or do all the treasures apply equally to all people throughout all ages in the Bible? My contention is that while all the Bible is for us, as your reference from Proverbs would indicate, all the Bible is not written to us nor is about us. Therefore, 2Ti. 2:15 tells us we need to study to understand the divisions God placed in His Book, so we know His will for us for today.
