1. Medical marijuana. Try looking a terminal cancer patient in the face when marijuana is the only thing keeping the pain and nausea of chemo away. Try telling them they are an "evil druggie" Look them right in the eye when you sneer at them.

They aren't, but there are other pain killers to get through chemo, not just wonderweed.

2. Cocaine still makes a wonderful topical anesthetic for certain surgeries where swelling of the tissue MUST be prevented (some eye surgeries, for instance.)

Again a medical issue.

3. Pray you never need morphine.

Another medical issue.

Since you are acting like Clinton and parsing every word, I will rephrase the question.

Firearms help protect innocent life and property, how many lives has the "recreational" use of a joint, crack pipe, orused heroin needle saved?

Has a joint ever prevented a robbery? Yeah I can just see it.

"Dude put down the gun and have a doob with me."

The pothead will probably be shot and his stash taken.

Not all of them work. There are a number of situations where the THC from pot appears to be the only thing that works.

Again a medical issue.

I'm just answering your question: How many lives have these drugs saved. Don't yell at me if I actually answered them.

Firearms help protect innocent life and property, how many lives has the "recreational" use of a joint, crack pipe, orused heroin needle saved?

How many lives has the "recreational" use of fast food, alcohol, coffee and tobacco saved? Are you saying that if something can be used recreationally, it should be banned?

Has a joint ever prevented a robbery? Yeah I can just see it.

A joint isn't a weapon of self-defense. You might as well ask "Has an orange ever prevented a robbery?" or "has a stuff teddybear ever prevented a robbery?" You use the right tools for the right job. Has a can of beer ever prevented a robbery?
