Plus the idea of privitization of social security has so many problems in implementation, that it is mind boggling. In any event, the bloom is off the equity investment rose, which was viewed at one time as the universal solvent for balancing the actuarial books with higher returns. That was a profoundly misquided idea. I am pleased that the lid on this Pandora's box is now firmly closed for the present. Another "liberal" post from Torie. Cheers.
