Netanyahu secretly plotting to TORPEDO Trump's Iran peace deal in intelligence bombshell

US spy agencies have warned Donald Trump that Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu is poised to torpedo his fragile peace deal with Iran to save his own political skin.

Netanyahu, who faces a general election in the fall, is expected to escalate strikes on Iran's proxy terror group Hezbollah in Lebanon to shore up support at home

An official familiar with the report told the Washington Post that Israel's leadership is frustrated with Trump's 14-point plan and what it sees as a capitulation to Tehran.

The document states that Jerusalem fears the agreement will hobble its ability to defend itself against Hezbollah

The deal has frustrated many in Israeli government who want to continue its offensive against Iran's proxies to their north - some have openly criticized Trump and his deal.

Further, sources reveal that Israel's occupation of southern Lebanon and attacks on Hezbollah militants there and near the capital Beirut are important to voters - a key consideration of Netanyahu's as he faces mounting political opposition.

The report stated that a suspension of hostilities or a withdrawal from Lebanon would be considered the prime minister's defeat, a current US intel official said.

'For every tear of an Israeli mother, a thousand Lebanese mothers must weep,' Itamar Ben-Gvir, Israel's minister of national security, shockingly posted on Friday. 'All of Lebanon must burn!'

Trump signed the deal with Iran on Wednesday at the G7 summit in France

US and Iranian negotiators had been due to meet in Switzerland on Friday to thrash out a wider deal, but the talks were called off as fighting in Lebanon flared.

Israel and Hezbollah agreed a ceasefire on Friday that took effect at 4pm local time, brokered by the US and Qatar with Iranian help, though Lebanese officials reported strikes carried on past the deadline.

So basically Israel is just as crazy as all those other middle eastern MFers now? Man, we need to get the nuke power going again and start to be able to just walk away from that disaster.

Netanyahu was the first foreign leader to call to congratulate Senile Joe Biden on his stolen election in 2020.

poised to torpedo

So the clickbait title says "plotting" to torpedo, but immediately upon opening, it's softened to "poised".

I said myself that relying on Hezbollah to behave and expecting Israel not to respond was a major problem w/the MOU.

OMG nations put their interest first!!!! Are we doing any different???

The authors ignore (1) Israel was not a party to the talks with Iran, so Israel made no commitments vis-a-vis Lebanon.

If a U.S. President wants conditions that restrict some other nation it cannot do so without that nation as a party to the agreement.

Iran’s nukes have always been about Israel. The U.S. should have insisted to the Mullahs that it would be three way Iran-U.S.-Israel talks. But of course the Mullahs want to make war against Israel but want no recognition of Israel in any way, so there could never be any true peace deal with the Mullahs.

considering the age of the Father of these tribes, it is not surprising they are crazy sociopaths

By age 86 and especially 100, sperm carry a vastly elevated number of random genetic mutations

The DNA packed inside the sperm head experiences severe structural abnormalities and fragmentation in older men. Because stem cells in the testes divide continuously every 16 days, copying errors accumulate over decades.

The Daily Fail is always a good source of BS, lies and propaganda.

Except now when it bolsters the Trumpian idea that Netanyahu has no “effing judgement”.

The US kept the MOU secret from Israel because of how bad it was otherwise they would have given Israel a seat at the table. Iran is more of a threat to Israel than ANYONE else, Iran is a threat to the entire middle east but they want Israel gone first

There will never be peace while Hezbollah remains a viable force. And there will never be a better time to break their back. Leaving them to continue simply guarantees permanent continuous war.

Anyway, notice the game. IRGC pretends to negotiate while playing for time. When Trump announces success Hezbollah strikes, IRGC “walks away” from the phony negotiations, and both Trump and IRGC blame Israel.

IRGC believe they can outlast Trump. They believe what they see on CNN, and they have lost their fear of him. He needs to do something to reestablish fear among the mullahs and crazy generals. They control Hezbollah. They can stop the fighting in Lebanon whenever they decide to.

Stupid article. Is Israel allowed to defend itself? That’s all it really boils down to.

Israel is not even a party to the MOU(The Deal).

Somehow I don’t see Netanyahu deliberately sabotaging Israel’s ability to maintain a good relationship with this country, or continue to purchase military paraphernalia from the U.S. to use on their enemies. I do see people trying to create a break between the two countries any way they can. UK Daily Mail included.

right on cue from the British leftist sensationalist press

the “deal” is by its terms almost meaningless to begin with
and it is self-destructing anyway

Bibi doesn’t have to raise a finger one way or the other. He couldn’t possibly save the “deal” and he couldn’t possible kill the “deal”... he wasn’t even invited to be a party to it and he’s not bound by it at all. Botswana and Pitcairn Island wasn’t invited to participate in the “deal” either.
