NBA and NFL players are involved in a truly remarkable story after being scammed by a catfish pretending to be a famous adult actress.
The NFL Players Association is now speaking up and make players aware of shady characters. The nature of the statement from the NFL PA stems from a fraudster targeting many stars and their personal information.
The Athletic detailed a shocking account recently regarding various NBA and NFL players being targeted by a man that posed as an OnlyFans creator. Kwamaine Jerell Ford allegedly pretended to approach top athletes and gain their trust for the purpose of stealing personal information.
A press release says that Ford “posed online as a well-known adult film star.” The alleged adult actress that Ford impersonated is Teanna Trump.
International soccer star Nicolas Pepe is engaged to the adult actress. Meanwhile, the alleged fraud continued as he “offered to send sexually explicit videos to the athletes.”
The Department of Justice even claims that Ford may have been able to receive Apple login information from various professional athletes. The DOJ also stated that the 34-year-old scammer received credit and debit card information from “dozens of victims.”
“The FBI has advised that Kwamaine Jerell Ford, posing as a female adult film star, lured athletes into providing sensitive information,” according to an NBC Sports report.

Meanwhile, Ford’s recent plea hearing in March saw the imposter plead not guilty to nine different counts of fraud.

2. Maybe there should be a web site called OnlyScams.
3. Scammers only exist because it works. Sadly.
4. Will the list of players who lost money in this scam be leaked?
Rocket surgeons!
Manti Teʻo
Horny young athletes with money. What could go wrong? Will there be a call for public disclosure of these fellas? They’re doing it with Epstein. Why did the scammer have to use Trump’s name? Imaging doing a MacDundee test on his crotch.
Bounces between ‘man’ and ‘actress’ with out stating it was a tranny.
In the 90s where was a Detroit Lions football player in a minor scandal for refusing to pay his overdue rental fines and return a large load of VHS tapes of racy, silly sounding X rated films.
One problem was the rock FM stations made fun of him and read off the list of the non Oscar finalists.
Worse than the fines.
I guess the core problem is that professional athletes who earn millions of dollars a year just have a hard time meeting girls and getting laid. Fortunately, an enterprising businessman found a way help rich athletes have sex.
I was going to say the same thing. I’ve seen shows where they say that they sit rookies down in classes on scams and how to manage their money. And the older guys try to look out for the younger guys. I guess you can only lead the horse to water . . . .

Kwamaine.
Why the hell is poor catfish involved in adult industry?
My guess is most of these “victims” didn’t make it to class after about 8th grade, so slim chance they sat in for the class you mentioned.
“You gotta be tough to be dumb”!
I remember a story of Dallas Cowboy lineman a few years back who would only have sex on video tape.
He did not want any ‘ho coming back on him saying it was nonconsensual.
Well that made some sense.
Keep it “transactional”.
He work hard for his money, he didn’t want no ‘ho getting in “the bag” that he worked so hard to get.
In the 2010's, the big thing was players being robbed by their parents.
Then there are those entrepreneurial burglars who target the athlete's home during an away game.
Here is a cool reality show idea. There are already these Bait Car programs, where police leave a car open in a high crime area. The bait car has cameras and audio inside the car. The car also has a remote shut down switch. They wait for the thieves drive away, then disable and arrest. One of the funniest ones was the thief saying he had to get to his grandparents to take care of them.
So....... How about Bait Mansions. Park a few Maseratis in the driveway, have extra TV announcements of the upcoming away games. Please include some police dogs to spice up the captures.
.
One of them sent money to his mother and stepfather to buy a house. They later asked him for more money to buy a house, because they spent the original money. Eventually, he cut his mother off, and she sent his cousins to beat up his fiance.
If you include the practice squad, there are more than 2,200 players in the NFL, more if you include the unsigned free agents.
In a population that big, there will be a spectrum.
There are plenty of really smart players in the NFL.
Marshawn Lynch, from Oakland, saved 100% of his earnings from football and only lived off endorsements.
John Urschel got a PhD in mathematics from MIT after his NFL career.
(And for anyone who wandered in from Stormfront, both of those men are black.)
There are many devout Christian players. I saw the 49ers have a prayer circle after every game with some players and coaches, sometimes joined by players and coaches from the other team. You used to see it regularly, but I think the TV people were told not to show it anymore.
I just read a story about something like this a few days ago. He was suing his parents.
There is no transgender here. The man is just pretending to be a woman online. He used pictures of a real woman. He didn't dress or act like a woman in real life.
