I don't know much about this whole thing, but from what I have read it was mostly a lack of heroism not weapons.

(there was one exception and that guy is a hero in my book)

A long time ago when I was in high school we had archery and shooting after school, I was not so good but it was still fun

If you saw a pickup in the parking lot with some kind of rack, and if it had at least one .22 that was normal.

Today if you see a guy in the girls dressing room we are told that is normal.

At least we have cops to protect us and our children

Can’t solve cowardice with a safe full of guns and ammo.

Why not pack the safe with F-14s and nuclear bombs. About as useful. You need people with testicular fortitude, which means women as well in this context, who are willing and able to put down the nut job du jour with whatever weapon. A snub-nosed S&W .38 revolver would serve as well, or even a can of dog food, as in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. But if you don’t have the nerve to do something effective, you’re useless, no matter what you have in your hands or in a safe somewhere.

New game and challenge for every incoming class of ‘dents.

Yeah, two years ago Marx touched it! Suspended one year on the spot. A senior says he has the combination but that's probably marlarky. Some kids at another school are saying they've hacked the cameras.

Two things can happen:
Someone breaks in and steals them.
Nobody can find the keys when the rifles are needed, urgently.

What if the shooter is between your class and that safe? Is the combination school staff knowledge?

Now is a good time to do that. With the kids going back to school and the ***hole demonRATS desperate to win the midterms, there is no telling who many “mass shootings” the RATS are setting up right now. If they murder infants in the womb, they don’t have any problems with massacring school kids.

Not so good as it sounds. It takes some time to retrieve the rifles and to load them. Better the Florida(and other states) way of training teachers and getting them CCW permits and allowing them to carry in school with appropriate signage by the doors.
