Global sizzling: July was hottest month on record, NOAA says
Associated Press ^ | August 13, 2021 | Seth Borenstein

Earth sizzled in July and became the hottest month in 142 years of recordkeeping, U.S. weather officials announced.

As extreme heat waves struck parts of the United States and Europe, the globe averaged 62.07°F (16.73°C) last month, beating out the previous record set in July 2016 and tied again in 2019 and 2020. the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said Friday. The margin was just .02°F (.01°C).

The last seven Julys, from 2015 to 2021, have been the hottest seven Julys on record, said NOAA climatologist Ahira Sanchez-Lugo. Last month was 1.67°F (0.93°C) warmer than the 20th century average for the month.

“In this case first place is the worst place to be,” NOAA Administrator Rick Spinrad said in a press release. “This new record adds to the disturbing and disruptive path that climate change has set for the globe.”

“This is climate change,” said Pennsylvania State University climate scientist Michael Mann. “It is an exclamation mark on a summer of unprecedented heat, drought, wildfires and flooding.” …

My parents watched my elementary.

It was public but they stayed in tune. I had wonderful teachers and they were tough.

I excelled at math and geography. Weather was a new one.

I love the fact that I can name any capital in any state at any time. Thank my 7th grade teacher for that.

:^) Yes, it is Dover.

I had Nuns teaching me all through elementary school.

In retrospect, I feel I received a college education at that time.

They were TEACHERS, who cared about teaching...not indoctrination.

And I will forever Bless those Nuns, who CARED.

The key phrase is “on record.”
It’s probably been hotter before they began k doing “records.”

Well, my little part of the globe has had the coolest and wettest July on record. We had more rain than our usual YEARLY average, and our temperatures have averaged 20f below the usual temperatures at any given time of day during July. LAst half of June and first half of August, those trends continue here.

PERHAPS some parts of the globe are hotter than normal. I still believe that earth is basically in equilibrium, affected only by solar variations, with regional differences which may be higher than historical averages or lower than regional averages, but for every record hot, there is usually a record cold somewhere else.

And of course nearly everyone knows that most of the Global Warming monger’s temperature recording stations are intentionally placed in ‘heat islands’, be they urban or rural recording stations.

Wow! A whopping 142 years worth of records! That’s like 0.00% of the earth’s existence. And isn’t every year the hottest on record according these doom ‘n gloomers?

That's right, over the last 142 years, there's been a warm-up.
And because of that, it shouldn't come as any great surprise
that recent years and months would be the a warmest in all those
years. It's sort of like saying your the oldest you have ever been.

The doomers & gloomers seem to think the natural state of the
climate is static. It is not.

Besides all that, we are being told that a warmer world is a
looming catastrophic disaster in the making. Really? Longer
growing seasons? More arable land? More rain? The greening
effect of more CO2? Really? What's not to like about that?

Additionally, we are being systematically lied to: The polar
bears are fine. There aren't more hurricanes and they aren't
stronger. The only reason there are more tornados is there are
more ways to detect them, more people to see them, and more
stuff to be wrecked by them. Sea level is rising at about the
same as it did in the early 19th century when the first tide
gauges began keeping records. There aren't more forest fires,
and those that we have aren't due to "Climate Change" a more
likely cause is mismanagement by dogooder liberal policies
allowing the fuel load the build. In a warmer world there is
more rain, not more drought.

The question becomes: what is our government not lying to us about?

Global warming?
election fraud?
Wuhan virus origin?
“vaccination” deaths?
state of the economy?
insurrection at the Capitol?
Chaos at the border?

The list grows.

In parts of the country it has been hot due to the normal fluctuations of the El Niño phenomenon. Where I reside in coastal North Florida we have had an inordinately cool summer thus far with night-time temperatures in the seventies except for two nights early this month. To 20 years ago we had lows in the 80s beginning in the first week in June and no more cool nights except for hurricane times. Daytime summer temperatures have averaged declining a tad since 2000. In the late nineties we had a series of summers with some to many days of 100 degree+ highs. We have not had more than one such day per season for several years now. Politically and economically and for climate I Thank God I wound up here instead of my then preferred Virginia or NW coast.

Until the construction of Solar Farms is controlled or stopped we will continue to have a rise in temperatures. The amount of heat that these Solar Farms generate is astronomical.

Here's the temperatures from UAH Satellite data, considered by some to be the most accurate. July was not even close to being a record, it's not even close to averages from most recent years.

“At this point in the summer, I have to say it was the mildest summer in thirty-odd years of being around central Germany.”

I’ve also been a casual weather-watcher for about 30 years - maybe even 40 - and I have to say the climate in the Northeastern US has not changed much at all. It still goes down to 0 degrees for a few days in the winter, and it goes up to 100 for a few days in the summer. No freakishly hot temperatures like 104 or 106 ever.

So there’s another “anecdotal” piece of evidence pointing to no change in the local climate. But put all these anecdotal stories together, and you get no global climate change.
