The Arizona Democrat Party and a Maricopa County Board Supervisor filed a complaint arguing the audit violates state law. Superior Court Judge allowed the audit to continue with a hearing set for Tuesday. In today’s hearing, plaintiffs in the case argued that Cyber Ninjas, the lead party in the audit, has not provided adequate proof of its ability to conduct a secure and confidential audit of the ballots. The Defendants argued that they have a right to protect their procedures and policies from review by the plaintiffs because, state Senate, has not been waived from privilege in the case.

I have wondered why the liberals are having a meltdown over this audit. If all election procedures were conducted properly, then an audit would confirm that fact.

On the other hand, if problems were revealed, wouldn’t the Democrats, being “democrats” with a small “d”, want to fix any election issues????

Even as a freshman Senator LBJ had a personal hit man he could get off with a. wrist slap after the guy killed a man in front of multiple witnesses.

FDR was the king of pay to play and political corruption.

They haven’t been small d democrats since maybe Wilson. Maybe not even then.

One would think.

If this was the most secure and honest election in history, let's prove it!

Rub those Trumpists' faces in it!

Funny how the left wasn’t going over the top ape sh*t over the other recounts and this one is really setting them off. I am so used to nothing burgers though.

An odd thought tonight; and, this is pure speculation.

Are the democrats in Arizona being played?

This is an audit, not a recount. That bears repeating, and clarification. This is not a recount, it is an audit. In a recount, you must count every ballot. In an audit of this type, you might just need a representative, stratified random sample.

What if the auditors are a bit secretiveness, not because of proprietary software, as they’ve claimed, but because they are obtaining a stratified random sample rather than counting every ballot? What if they’ve duped the sh*tocrats into thinking they are going to scan every ballot because that is normally how a recount works? Thus, sh*ocrats are focusing on stopping before they’ve finished a recount, which isn’t happening.

Statistically, if the sample correctly, fraud be could proved rather conclusively without examining every ballot.

The republicans could release findings that state: “We found “X” amount of illegal or fraudulent ballots in a sample size of “Y.” So, with 98% certainty can say there was “nth” percent of illegal ballots cast. Here is our methodology, A-B-C.”

They’d then have the sh*tocrats in a box.
They could dispute the methodology, but if done right, that is hard to do. Even if they did this (And they would) It would still cause them problems and could not be ignored. Or, they could call for another audit that included a recount.

If the sh*tocrats didn’t do that they would have no way to absolutely disprove the claim and it would look like they were avoiding it because they are guilty and they know it. The Republicans could then lobby for an actual, complete audit based on the sample audit and could do so in court with actual evidence. If they release the findings the sh*tocrats would have a very hard time defending their position.

I don’t know about ballots, but when sampling the condition of library books the sample size needs to be about 2%. There, I think, 4.9 million votes in Arizona. 4,900,000 X .02 = 98,000. The auditors have, according to an article I read today, nearly 100,000 already. If they have only two more days and get to 200,000 that is over 4% of the total vote. The republicans could rightly say, “If pollsters can survey, 800 to 1000 people when the population is 350 million, and find presidential preferences; how much more accurate is our survey?”

Once again, this is pure speculation.

The Republicans need to do this, because they didn’t stop these election changes.

There is more to a bank audit than just addition and subtraction. There is also an investigation into the controls in place to be sure the results are racist, er, accurate. The control exams look for leaks that cause errors.

In this case, based on the reports I've seen to date, the auditors are trying to estimate counts of bogus ballots, tallied by type(s) of bogosity. I've not seen any audits mentions regarding manual handling of the ballots, software audits, or what knobs are available to be turned to change vote counts.

I would be particularly interested in seeing the auditors determine how the vote accumulators reported to the media went backwards, as displayed by the CNN videos that were shown earlier during one of the election challenges.

There is the potential of faithless counters. like running ballots multiple times through the tabulators. What other operations issue might a good audit find?

Why might the Democrats be afraid of the results of the audits? Simple. Audits expose problems and issues. State legislators has already passed legislation to fix some of the issues we already knew about. The audit will trigger additional legislation,

Plus, sets a precedent for forensic audits in other counties.

After watching the videos, I see that the gentleman is ONLY interested in the physical ballots. He characterizes the analysis method to detecting counterfeit money, to detecting paper that missed certain processes (like folds), or multiple processing (like feeding the paper multiple times through the tabulator).

"I don't care about the machines that read the ballots. I only care about the paper ballot."

I surprised theses simple, cost effective methods are not used to screen out illegal ballots before the counting starts, cause then people holding an elected office are confident they have support of Citizens.......

Oh wait, never mind

Of course those elected want to be confident that they actually have the support of the citizens....well, CERTAIN citizens anyway. If anyone wants to cover up an audit, there’s a reason.

"I don't care about the machines that read the ballots. I only care about the paper ballot."

Thats right. The folds in the ballots leave virtually identical creases that can be verified through scanners as going through and processed by machines sending them out to voters. The fraud was made in ballots that were not sent out and therefore were manually created, so fraudulent. The paper is the key to all this. Pulizers can scan the folds and tell by the paper if they were issued by the state through the US mail......or by China.
