This guy is foolish. Many poorer countries are poor because of corruption and mismanagement. Throwing money at them will only make those in power well off. At least charities are reasonably focused on the problems at hand. Counties can kiss a lot of charitable donations goodbye if the money is just going to be stolen from people. Does he just mouth progressive sounding talking points to sound good without giving any thoughts to ramifications?
Someone needs to make this heretic excommunicate and anathema.

By my calculations the developed countries of the world have developed science that has helped the ecology greatly.
If we were still wood burning societies polluting the air, and dumping stuff into water without knowing the environmental impact, the world would be far worse off.
So when do the developed countries get paid back? Or do you just want to call it even?

You mean like the way Americans Fought off those people who were destroying the statues? Or the Americans who fought when the first coup was attempted? Or the Americans who went to war when the second coup was successful and took over a country?
I’m a Catholic and the pope can go to hell. But the future of the United States in terms of affecting the world is much greater than the Vatican these days.
Catholics and Americans should be rising up against the Vatican and our now close to dead Republic. But we won’t.
On both accounts, the Vatican and the United States, I don’t know what it will take for the good guys to finally Step Up.
Because that chance came and went in the US. To hell with the Vatican. All I need is the Bible to know how to live my life.
