I watched one and a half episodes of this show.
And within those 30-40 minutes or so - was treated to images of the disgusting Lena Dunham going to the bathroom three times.
Come on now; tell the real reason.
Why would a "hit" have its plug pulled?
How many people were watching it?
Were the camera shots of Lena sitting on her ‘throne’ supposed to be a point of ironic anti-climax? Sort of like the last episode of The Sopranos?
Lena has such a nondescript look, I could be using my Xmas gift card in Macy’s, have her ring up my merchandise, and I still would really know it was her.
Only if she started talking (out loud) about what she and her younger sister used to do for ‘fun’(look it up). Then, yes I would know it was her, and promptly leave the store w/o comment.

Hardly a “hit”. It garnered less than 300,000 viewers per episode, 16% of what The Sopranos took in each episode (18.4 mil). More like a ratings and financial disaster for the network, kept on so long solely because of the liberal bias of its star.
You made it much further than I. less than 6 minutes in I decided I hoped the whole cast caught some horrible disease.
Well, if they had 3 people + the filming staff watching, then they were popular when compared to CNN which, on a good day, has 2 people watching + plus staff.
I already knew back in october, got an inside reliable source. HBO is choc full of idiot liberals but they also have a keen business sense on what works. They make money of Game of Thrones but right after, the other shows just suck ass.
believe it or not, Vikings on History beats GOT on return of investment.
I saw about 10 minutes of an episode and he fat slut had her clothes off by the time we turned the channel. Barfalicious...
I first heard of this show after reading about her talking about molesting her sister in her book. Glad I never watched.. sounds like 6 seasons of complete grossness.
Lena is about disgusting as actresses come and that is really bad.
Like sex in and the city before it, this thing is just vacuous fair.. But with worse acting and writing. I think I caught 10 minutes of an episode once and could stand no more.
Sadly this kind of drivel is popular with apparently some.
As to those claiming it’s not popular, you do realize they are announcing the 6th season will be its last on the day the fifth season just started.
Like it or not it does have a following.... Probably of vacuous 20 something women who will likely be wondering why they are still single in their 40s.
True but without the popularity of GOT shows like Vikings and other clear attempts to put out something similar would likely never been made.
I doubt that, business is business even in Hollywood. If you at hemoraging cash you run. They can claim liberal ideology all day long but they are some of the most ruthless business folks on the planet.
Besides the makeup artists and camera crew?
