We all know that you celebrate the assassination of President Lincoln.

With that being the case, do you believe that Sam Houston should have been murdered for his opposition to Texas joining the Confederacy?

Or would you have simply put Sam on trial for treason?

No...Sam Houston wasn’t killed or tried, because everyone knew his first love was till the end of his life, TEXAS.

As I stated earlier, he wanted Texas to secede, then become a Republic, not join the Confederacy.

I will tell you a secret: I really don’t celebrate Lincoln’s demise, just said that to get your buddy THUMPER stirred up. But it is no secret that I depise Lincoln.

Another fact: Lincoln approved a plan to assasinate Jeff Davis and the Confederate Cabinet, but the plan was unsuccessful.

SO...the fact that he was killed by the same means he advocated for others, seems like justice to me.
