Thank you. When Orly’s BC thing first happened, I had just come back to reading FR after a couple of months hiatus (couldn’t handle the bad news for a while) and it was exciting, read every comment on every thread that I could possibly find/find time for.
I was hoping someone in AU would get to the bottom of the numbers.
“I was hoping someone in AU would get to the bottom of the numbers.”
I think that would be like trying to validate the Hawaii CoLB by quoting the ‘certificate number’ shown on it. South Australia is thousands of miles away from where I live...and the privacy rules are strict:

has anyone seen this one before?
Yes, for those that really need much more evidence, I would presume any birth certificate - say of a person applied for the same year as David Bomford would do it. The sequence of numbers might indicate that range. I find every area of relations, and indeed the interview by ABC Aus. of David Jeffrey Bomford having absolutely a direct relation to his certificate. This he has confirmed as his.
One last area which no doubt, he might erase is a subscribed information website. I have a password and there is David Bomford and his two schools. One, a primary school at Thebarton Australia. He would be about five years of age starting there. Thebarton is where he was born.
It invites one to e-mail David. This I would not do, since it would not be the purpose of that website- to check up on anyone that way.
I find that the birth certificate applied for in 1948 for Hutcheson, born 1884, confirms the style used for the 1959 Bomford birth cert. Courtesy of Fred Nerks. It cost five shillings then, and has the same format for serial numbers.
I am beginning to feel like my pet dog, chasing it's own tail- still press on regardless.
