That's always a good point to make. Some States' Rights advocates argue against the Incorporation Doctrine (certainly a fair argument to make) -- but that means conceding that states then have the power to confiscate all guns, make Islam the state religion, put accused criminals on the rack, force citizens to quarter state militia, confiscate your property without ANY compensation, shut down all media the state government doesn't like, eliminate jury trials for accused criminals, allow strip searches in public for no reason or probable cause, etc. No thank you.
I would respect the rights of private airlines to ban firearms from their planes. Would you support the right of a private airline to allow them?
