Hunter has a long way to go. Belief is nice, but until such time as we see him toppling those with more visibility, this is not a likely scenario.

Secondly, no member of the House has been directly elected President since James Garfield in 1880. That's a huge burden of history.

And no former mayor with no other electoral experience has been directly elected President. Ever. Coolidge was veep first.
