I am backing Guiliani. Or anyone else who wins the Republican nomination. I just hope it isn't some hopeless candidate with the ultra conservative beliefs that only 25% of the country will vote for in the national election.

You mean like Ronald Reagan or George W Bush?

You'd prefer a guy like Bob Dole or George HW Bush who are milder Republicans, sure-fire winners, right?

I don't know what "ultra conservative" means, but if we had the option of voting for someone who was simply for SMALLER, LESS INTRUSIVE GOVERNMENT and was capable of clearly stating so, then that candidate would win in a landslide.

people seem to forget that Rudy was FOR Alito and Roberts and likes Scalia... He likes "good" justices...

do they NOT know who he is?

In 1981, Giuliani was named Associate Attorney General, the third highest position in the Department of Justice. As Associate Attorney General, Giuliani supervised all of the US Attorney Offices' Federal law enforcement agencies, the Bureau of Corrections, the Drug Enforcement Agency, and the US Marshals.

In 1983, Giuliani was appointed US Attorney for the Southern District of New York, where he spearheaded the effort to jail drug dealers, fight organized crime, break the web of corruption in government, and prosecute white-collar criminals. Few US Attorneys in history can match his record of 4,152 convictions with only 25 reversals.

The Terminator...

You vote against McCain or Guiliani, you get Hellary, Breck Girl, or Obama/Osama.

Bottom line, end of discussion.

Sorry, folks, but them's the breaks.

McCain wins republican nom and I'm out. I'll be voting third party. Yea that means Hillary probably wins but that ain't much worse then McCain in my book.

Jury is still out for me on any of the others that may or may not be running.

Take your pick, guns, abortion, higher spending, more illegals, what ever, if a Rat wins, all those issues will move into the never going to get better group. No matter how much our guy is a Rino, Hillorat and her cute little rat followers will make things worse.
