They aren't exactly taking 3 showers a day and they work on farms, so the one thing I'll grant is they have a bit of a "European" aroma.

The buggies are a pain if you're stuck behind one, but now that I live in the DC area I'll take them over the maniacal drivers here.

Other than that they seem like pretty normal people to me.

Actually I envy their simple lifestyle. I worked a summer as a bricklayer and I didn't smell very good either. Mom actually put up a shower in the back yard so I could clean up before I was allowed in the house.

I've broken bread with many Amish families in my life. Sat at their tables and eaten their food. Worked with them and played with their children.

Oh, for pete's sake. Anyone who does physical labor has body odor at times. Give it a break, please! Go find another thread to pollute.
