Me too. If the site was hacked, I'd love to know who did it. I don't think it was though. I think it was an open site from day one.

Collecting and dissemenating private information is a violation of Yahoo's TOS.

Hacking is a Federal felony, punishable by up to 5 years in prison and a $250,000 fine per offense. If someone hacked a Yahoo newsgroup, that person is in a LOT of trouble!
