Well sure. They couldn't very well put all those cooks and teamsters and servants and laborers in separate units by themselves, could they? Who would slop the mules and wash the mess if they did?

PLEASE come with me to an army post & stand out in front of a unit orderly room & SHOUT that cooks, drivers,mechanics,maintenance personnel, orderlies, nurses, etc are NOT REAL soldiers.
