Who cares if it's safer than tobacco? Shouldn't people have the right to do their own risk-benefit analysis and decide for themselves if it's worth it?

Who cares if it's safer than tobacco? Shouldn't people have the right to do their own risk-benefit analysis and decide for themselves if it's worth it? I've been in the cannabis culture for over 30 years and I've never known anyone to have any health complications that could be described as caused by cannabis use.
Do any of you other forum members have first hand knowledge of any health complications that can be attributed to marijuana use?
