Extremely conservative legal groups are the ones praising her nomination
LOL! I'm sorry. Could anyone give me a list of known Conservatives who are supporting this nomination.
(And no cheating. Name them without googling them first).
The big deal on Steffie's show seems to be whether there were back door assurances on how Miers would vote in an upcoming case, based on Dobson putting his foot in his mouth. They may call him as a witness.
I'm curious to see who will take the time in a live news thread to compile a list for you.
Depends on what you mean by "known" conservatives. As I said, the ACLJ unequivocally supports her nomination and their opinions are more important to real conservatives like me who love the Constitution and fight for it's preservation than the opinion of some pundit who gets paid by the word.
I could probably name some but there's not enought time now. I'm fianlly watching FNC. Still, I read this week of some conservative organizations who have come out for Miers. And, from what I heard on Rush's program, he's questioning but he has not come out against her nomination as some believe.
Ken Starr gave a very enthusiastic endorsement of her a couple of days ago. He has worked with her on several legal cases and thinks she is an excellent choice.
You mean media pundits have more credibility than the President and the legal community scholars?
And your qualifications to make that judgement are, what, precisely?
others have provided you with names such as Ken Starr, the ACLJ and others. I'll give you two more. Conservatives, with a capital C, who don't have to get anyone's permission to claim the mantle of a "true conservative."
