Surinamese Deepak Kalpoe, 21, arrives to court in Oranjestad, Aruba, Friday, Aug. 26, 2005. Aruban police arrested Kalpoe and his brother Satish, 18, along with a third person according to government spokesman Ruben Trapenberg, saying he doesn't know if the arrests are connected to the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. The two brothers had been previously detained and released. (AP Photo/Pedro Famous Diaz)
Surinamese Satish Kalpoe, 18, front, gets in a car to go to court in Oranjestad, Aruba, Friday, Aug. 26, 2005. Two Surinamese brothers, Satish and Deepak Kalpoe, who had been detained and released in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway were arrested again Friday based on new evidence, officials said. The brothers were detained on suspicion of involvement, with unidentified 'other people,' in premeditated murder and rape, the prosecutor's office said. Person to the right is unidentified. Shebacal, thanks for posting Rita's transcript! I still can't see it on MSNBC's website.
Imaketypos, thanks for trying. Your link is the same one I've been trying. All I can see is down to the 'story continues below' and then it's just a blank page past there. That confirms it's time for a new computer for me!
This one is only 5 years old and running windows 98. LOL!
Trappenberg: "We had teams from Texas, teams from all over the U.S., and local Aruba search teams checking out every rock on this island. And they didnt check it once, more than once."
-----
Rudy, you lying dirty dog!! Every rock on the island, eh?
But ya'll missed searching the Sloot's entire home and property.
You betcha it makes me sick to hear Deepak speak about Natalee in such a horrible way. It's typical of a criminal mind. Always blame the victim.
And we should not forget Deepak's post on his little website when he got out of jail the last time..."Yeah I'm out of jail again and there isn't a f**king thing you can do about it."
I hope he has to eat those words real soon!
Yes, the guy who's throat was cut worked at the refinery(I'm sure that is what you meant instead of furnace). The refinery is supposed to have an industrial furnace. I can't verify this info, but have heard the furnace has not functioned in a long time. So that might be a bad lead.
Good, then we're back to the well. There are two things that have bothered me immensely: 1) the well on VDS property; 2) WHY the government virtually stopped the searching in the landfill. They filled in the spot I think when they were getting close. They found a newspaper with the date August 26th the night before the govt. backfilled the entire hole. And then they couldn't get another PERMIT to dig again. It was INTERFERENCE big time.
Thanks, I hadn't heard the furnace wasn't operational.
Justche, you asked about the Saudi Prince guy, check out # 17, the entire thread is worthwhile; here is an excerpt:
The younger the child the more desirable.
--
Upon purchase, children are then taken by limousine directly to the Saudi prince's plane at Los Angeles airport.
As we mentioned in our prior newsletters,
Washington allows Saudi princes and their entourage to
circumvent customs and immigration which allows them to ship
their child sex slaves out of the US without need of the customary passport.
The children are then escorted directly onto the Saudi princes plane and flown to Saudi Arabia never to be seen again.
When the children are no longer of use, they are dumped in the Rubal Khali (desert).

Good observation.
According to the map shown at the link, the deadly disease "Bird Flu" has spread into the Netherlands.

Tito on Greta:
Prosecution is reshuffling info (lol how many times are they gonna shuffle the deck?)...going back to see what they might have overlooked.
Two people to be interviewed tomorrow...want statements from them...important people...who have spoken in public (knock*knock* kalpoes, maybe Deepak and Mama since both spoke in public via tape)
Prosecution will solve this case...maybe by years end.
Greta asks will charges for sexual assault, if not murder, be filed?
Tito: Not enough info to detain suspects but enough to prosecute. (huh? Aruban logic, I suppose)
Deepak seen around, visible...appears nervous.
Satish not seen much...in school.
Official search last week...delayed due to weather for now.
-----
I heard Tito tonight. Tourism must be low. To pretend they are interested in solving this case is an insult, imo.
That doesn't surprise me Lucy. I suspect Holland and the Netherlands has many other diseases at work there too.
ping
I think you are right.
I've heard rumblings that many of the islands are learning a lesson from Aruba about what not to do. There is a man, Rood, I believe is his name...he's got a program to raise awareness of rapes on the islands. Natalee's case has brought more attention to his cause than anything else. The islands are cleaning up their acts because they fear a loss in tourism. So if surrounding islands are feeling the heat, you know Aruba is feeling it even more.
Apparently, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has direct flights from Holland into Aruba two or three times a week.
Can't the bird flu be spread by those passegeners arriving from a country where the virus already is is known to exist?
This was on google:
"The period when an infected person is contagious depends on the age and health of the person. Studies show that most healthy adults may be able to infect others from 1 day prior to becoming sick and for 5 days after they first develop symptoms. Some young children and people with weakened immune systems may be contagious for longer than a week."
Thanks, RGTX. That's good news I wasn't aware of!
They only way they can appear to be serious about this case is put the 5 back in jail - the 3 plus papa and the DJ unti they answer the question, "Where's Natalee" and punish van straaten in some form for his willful misconduct that allowed this case to get to this point.
hey good people
i have returned at long last from the mandatory evacuation of the double hurricane blast and fundraising for the victims, and the focus now can return to a singular issue, which is the pursuit and apprehension of Natalee Holloway's rapists and killers, including the father, Paulus...in fact, especially him, since all of this is a recurring evolvement of his own connections with corrupt elements of the criminally embedded culture on the island of Aruba--should we boycott the island? what rational person would ever consider going? funds have been collected for the advancement and perpetuation of the Holloway family efforts, but the address of the SouthTrust Bank in Birmingham has been lost in the hurricane damage to our office here outside Biloxi, so we need that information again if some one will be kind enough to post that...and everyone who participates in support on this forum should be encouraged to send something, anything no matter how small the amount, to sustain this immediately important need...if you were considering sending money for the hurricane relief, please instead send that to the Holloway fund, because there is more money down here than Scrooge McDuck has, and certainly more than FEMA would know what to do with, but then, that's another thread entirely
Glad to finally know you're OK!
funds from this fund are available to Dave Holloway and his sister Linda Allison.
