Perhaps, but I'd love to know how.
lol
That's exactly the problem, isn't it? You want to live by sight and not by hope. Quix wants a "concise explanation that gets around the logical blocks." As Abraham was raising his sword to kill his only son, the son promised by God to be the beginning of a great family dynasty, did he stop and ask whether this plan of God to kill his son was logical or exactly how God would keep His promise so he could know? Hey, I'll let in you in on a little secret, God works His plan without either of you or your permission. We can clearly see how God works through secondary causes and how the historical record proves God is faithful to His word despite the free-will actions of depraved men through the many narrative accounts recorded in the OT. Somehow in the modern evangelical pre-packaged, 30 second, fast-food theology all of this is missed because a quick fix, taste great to the natural man, nuitrionless theology of happy-clappy fun meal is much easier to swallow than the full counsel of God's word. Yet, despite this, I believe God will use these times in some way that I do not understand to bring about a final glorious victory, Faith.
