That's an interesting question, and a tough one. I certainly wouldn't vote for Obama, because I disagree with him politically on most issues. I'd have a difficult time voting for Keyes, although I wouldn't categorically rule it out the way I would Obama. Hypocrisy really grates on me, perhaps much more than it does on other people. I might vote for the Libertarian (if there's one on the ballot) or simply choose not to vote for any Senate candidate.
I was kinda hoping that Mike Ditka would take the plunge. Even though I'm a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan, I'd have been happy to support Ditka. He has integrity, and he'd have made an extremely entertaining U.S. Senator. Oh well.
I'm glad I don't live in Illinois. It's rough enough to live here in California.
So Dr. Keyes hypocritical position on carpetbaggers is more important to you than his powerful defense of Conservatism and our Constitution? I think you have your priorities a bit skewed.
