I feel like a rotten listener. Spiderboy told us yesterday on the way home from church that someone scratched his hand and he needed a band aid. I looked at and didn't see anything. I asked him if it was bleeding. He told me no, so I told him he didn't need a bandaid.
UGH! Someone in his Sunday school class had stabbed his hand with a pencil. I got the story out of him this morning when I noticed the palm of his hand looked infected in a spot the size of an earring stud.
Long story short, I cleaned it up with some o that smelly alcohol, and soapy water, and put a bandaid on it.

No worries about the listening! I think something like that happens to all of us at some time.
Myranda got stabbed just above the lip with a pencil in 1st grade. It looked nasty the next day. Took her to the doctor and he treated it. Told us she'd have a tattoo there prolly her whole life from the graphite. It was gone in a couple of years though. It was SCARY to me though.

Oh gosh! I hope the tip of the pencil didn't break off in there...could cause a bit of trouble. Can you tell?
