she seldom cooked, since it was only her. now she fixes up some nice dead animal or other every friday night and sometimes on sunday - with all the trimmings.
I usually cook on saturdays.

I'd rather be with Laura Earl on a bad day than any other woman I've known on a good day. Did you see the story about the
dang horse faced creeps ?

OH NICE!! so he cares enough to put with ya, eh?
well, the more I see, the more I am convinved that the big guy in da sky is watching over me. there is no other explanation for how things have happened.
she had a brain aneurism several years ago that dern near killed her. My pal at YNH hospital told me not to bother coming down, she was that bad. spent the better part of a year getting back on her feet. two days later she was back at work.
shew was one of very few who had such a thing and survived, let alone who had almost no lasting damage (except possibly her taste in men:-))

My dad had the same thing. Had Brain Surgery 4 times. HE also thankfully did not suffer any ill effects except that it aged him.
He went into the hospital a very young man for his age, and came out an old man for his age....

well, I told my coquette that i'm hers for as long as she can stand me. she tells me that I am good for HER. I tell her that this is backwards.

I can't write any poetry today until my prosaic wears off.

sorry to hear about yer dad. HErs comes from disbetes. during her ordeal, her eyesight deteriorated to the point where she had to give up driving. she had just purchased a new car (upon my recommendation), and had to sell it. Fortunately she made a few bucks on it.
She never complained, just arranged for her own transportation.
She takes the bus in every day so we can have lunch together. I offer to send the car, but she refuses. she's independent. And she keeps me in cheetos.
