The Slantnel reports that Barr is a republican, wanted to correct that party of my story. Although, I haven't heard Barr say that he is. I must have confused him with one of the other candidates that lost in the run off.

Here's one accusation printed by the Slantnel. Keep in mind Barr runs an advertising firm.

Bryan Pavlick, an account executive at Fry Hammond Barr from 1996 to 1998, said he "frequently" heard Barr utter racial slurs. Pavlick, who lives in Atlanta, contacted the Sentinel about Barr two weeks ago. He said that on one occasion, Barr criticized the Lynx bus system as a waste of money with the sole purpose of "giving n------ a ride around town." OrlandoSlantnel

Hoookay, an advertising exec. is upset about a moving billboard being a waste of money? Right.

I would say "incredible," but any more, that sort of thing is SOP with the Dems. It used to be that sexual shenanigans would end a politician's career. Obviously, the Clinton years ended that. Now all they have to do is accuse someone of something far, far worse: uttering the word. It's a word used by the very people who claim to be most offended by it, a word only they can use with impunity (even when spoken in anger). It's a word that, quite frankly doesn't hurt anyone. (Go ahead, call me cracker - did I bleed? Have a heart attack? Slip a disc?)

We've gone beyond childishness. At least children learn that "words can never hurt me," not being sticks nor stones, but Dems can't grasp that simple notion. To them, the word is worse than a physical attack, it's worse than having an adulterous and dishonest character, it's worse than supporting those who would destroy this country. To utter the word is beyond murder, beyond rape, and so - knowing that their wrongheaded position on the issues won't help them, they resort to making such an accusation. Pathetic.
