I believe it - no one puts the time and research into the splash page for these events like you do.

Can anyone explain why 30 minutes is not an adequate lead time for these events?

Management should look at both threads and determine which one has the better production value and whack the loser's thread, and redirect everyone to the better thread.

We must come up with a 'statergy' for this. Perhaps we could start out with a the functional equivalent of 'pre game coverage' to be continued with a live thread. Maybe include an invitation for others to join us, etc.
