I can't explain why, but when we were young, my Dad would not allow my brother or me to eat the ice cream he bought without calling him to ask. My brother and I figured that if we opened the opposite already opened end we could scoop some out from the back. Dad never figured it out. LOL

A few years ago I admitted it to my Dad. He did not look pleased. LOL

Yesterday afternoon I went to visit an older woman from our church who lives in just about the best assisted living place in our area.

She's pretty new member, but soon after joining, her health declined, so if I'd ever met her, I sure didn't remember...

We had a nice talk, & it came out that her son is a UN diplomat: for the last dozen years, he's been the head of the UN Asian division ...now switching the head of the UN Europe division.

Such an odd coincidence!

The she said she'd been a strong Bush supporter, but was against the war, and his tax cut for the rich...the dividend tax cut part, especially...

This woman is obviously well to- do, and no worries about money...

So I answered that many elderly needed ALL the dividend money they could get. They weren't wealthy, and the twice-taxed system was unfair to them.

Good grief! This woman is intelligent, but brain-washed on this subject! Hope I did a little good...

The other day someone was telling me about a friend of theirs - sorta know her myself - who has been fighting a rash of some sort for awhile...

Now the dr. is thinking of hives, and that they are a sign of some underlying condition/illness.

My son, The Coopster, just called me from his mobile phone on the plow truck. He is NOT a happy camper! The weather bureau has revised their forecast to 4 inches...AFTER 3 INCHES ARE ALREADY ON THE GROUND! He had lots of choice words for weather people, let me tell you! Ha!
