We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! President Bush.
Good morning ALL you wonderful people.
Minus 6 outside the lysie home with a couple inches of *S*.
"We have not been informed of the details of this proposal, but no Iraqi will accept the deployment of international forces," Iraqi Foreign Minister Naji Sabri told the Saudi-owned Al-Hayat newspaper.
"We don't doubt the desire of certain international parties to face up to the logic of war and aggression but we think that the presentation of such ideas in fact serves the (US) logic of war," he told the London-based daily.
Turkey has offered a safe haven to Iraqi President Saddam Hussein if he steps down to prevent a U.S.-led war, a Turkish newspaper said on Tuesday.
May God bless our troops, President Bush and his administration and may God continue to bless the United States of America!!

On this day...

1960 Jack Paar walks off The Tonight Show
Jack Paar, host of NBC's The Tonight Show, walks off the program to protest censorship on this day in 1960. NBC had recently started taping the show, rather than airing it live, and censors now had the power to edit segments. Infuriated when censors cut a joke about a "water closet," claiming it was in poor taste, Paar stormed off the set in tears and did not return to the show for a month. Oh brother have we come a long way in the wrong direction...

Good morning! We are getting heavy *S* here right now, about 2 inches since I took the dog out at 5AM.
I think today is a great day for me to make chili.

This is an interesting essay by an unknown author. It makes a case for war, and discusses why the Arab culture hates us. Lots of thought-provoking ideas in it, and I recommend reading it when you have time (it is pretty long):

A GOOD A.M. TO ONE AND ALL OUT IN THIS VAST LAND OF FREEPERS FROM THE MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, USA!!!!
In the middle 60's for the next three days down here, sorry ya'll are getting so much cold and snow up 'there' but that's life, huh?
gd having a but with the flu, taking her to doc today and will hear him say 'it will run its course'.
REinstalled my fence yesterday in the back, finished my garage with painting (looking gooooood), signed counter offer on the house, here is praying that house sell, help me with your prayers on this matter if you will, looking for a good used truck (bigger one than I have, 84 ford ranger) to help move and for the farm.
Now ya'll know why I have been missing these last several days and will probally be missing for a couple of more to do the odd and end stuff aroung here. Might been missing in body but not in heart and mind and have been thinking of all as I go thru my tasks.
Prayers for OUR President W, his staff and for all with prayer needs. As always, prayers for the older folks, the ones of us who can say things and bounce it off as being from old age ( however, we know what we are saying). Have a gooooood day, a safe one and please, be kind to your fellow humans today.

I will keep your house sale in my prayers! You could get the moving done before the weather turns hot, too!
Lots of that white stuff falling this morning. My son will be out plowing again (he is getting REALLY tired of this).
The snow is good for the garden, though. It adds moisture as it melts, and insulates the plants when the weather turns colder.

Good morning.

Me too, I drove up to my farm yesterday and just parked right in the middle of it and looked around, I think my last years are going to be great, oh how I look forward to it.

Snow showers?
That's why they call them the weather men...
They don't know whether its going to rain, or whether its going to snow.
Great picture Lysie.
Good Morning!
I heard that they had fireworks last Friday night at Euro-Disney, in France.
Saturday morning the French Army surrendered.
