We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! President Bush.

Good morning ALL you wonderful people.

Minus 6 outside the lysie home with a couple inches of *S*.

"We have not been informed of the details of this proposal, but no Iraqi will accept the deployment of international forces," Iraqi Foreign Minister Naji Sabri told the Saudi-owned Al-Hayat newspaper.

"We don't doubt the desire of certain international parties to face up to the logic of war and aggression but we think that the presentation of such ideas in fact serves the (US) logic of war," he told the London-based daily.

Turkey has offered a safe haven to Iraqi President Saddam Hussein if he steps down to prevent a U.S.-led war, a Turkish newspaper said on Tuesday.

May God bless our troops, President Bush and his administration and may God continue to bless the United States of America!!

The Case for War ---

Thank you for the link. Very thought-provoking. Brings in many factors I had not fully considered.

I heard Powell and Tennent, what they had to say was heavey, and the voice of bin Lawden comes out and says that he has a patnership with SayDamn????? What will the 'Igiveup' French say then. Stop the playing footsie and lets get on with it, do it big time and show the world it does not pay to mess with the United States of America and OUR President George W. Bush, (we friends to him call him 'W'). This is one time they will wish they hadn't 'shaken the bush', huh?

That reminds of a post several years ago about a back country guide in Alaska. He flew some hunters into a prime bear hunting site and gave them a can of bear repellent. After he took off he banked back to make sure everything was alright at the campsite. He saw the men rolling around on the ground writhing in pain. He immediately returned to help. He discovered that they had sprayed the repellent on themselves in the manner of mosquito repellent. Bear repellent is about the same as pepper spray only several times stronger.

How about we just suck all that nasty crude oil out from under them? I'm sure that would reduce the swelling.

Don't overdo!

I think the Senate is about half way thru an 8 hour debate on the Estrada nomination today. It's in lunch recess right now...

My mom used to keep a year's supply of chocolate chips in her food storage. She went downstairs to get a package of chips one day, so that she could make some chocolate chip cookies. Only the bag was empty, and so were the others. My brother had been getting into the chocolate chips, and would take a bag to snack on. When he was finished with it, he would blow into the bag to make it approximately the size when full, tape it shut, and put it back in the food storage (in the back of the other bags.) He ended up buying a case of chocolate chips for the food storage...

My Mom baked bread every weekend. She would set the bread on Friday night, make fried bread on Saturday morning,we'd dip it into warm honey and warm blueberry jam. OH it was soooooo good. Then she'd make the loaves and by afternoon the hot bread would come from the oven, don't you know the kitchen would fill with kids, 'cause we were a bunch, and the first ones in the kitchen would get the heals with lots of butter.

My mom baked bread on a regular basis when we were growing up. Whole wheat bread, cracked wheat bread, white bread, oatmeal bread. But she'd get mad because someone would always eat the heels off every loaf. Well, many someones. Once she threatened us with punishment if we kept doing it, only problem, she caught my dad eating the heels.
