Your first stop will be on the Emerald Isle. Take your time and enjoy this scenic ancient castle. Smell the sea fog and run your hand along this old stone wall. Enjoy!
OK, time to reboard.
Your next stop is this Grecian beach on the Mediterranean. Feel the sand in your toes and listen to the seagulls as you stroll the seaside in the sunshine. Take a nap, Lysie, but be sure to use sunscreen.
Ready to go on?
Our next stop is this vineyard in South Africa. Enjoy the perfect weather and sample the wines produced here. Go ahead, take a bottle home as a souvenir. It's a birthday gift from the winery.
OK, fasten your seatbelt for your next stop.
Here we are in Japan. Smell the cherry blossoms as you sip Japanese tea in the peaceful surroundings of this Japanese garden.
Ready for your last stop?
I can tell that your Grecian tan is starting to fade. A bit of snorkeling in Fiji ought to take care of that. Shake hands with the fish and other sea animals...but watch out for the jellyfish. Afterwards, enjoy fresh seafood hot off the coals.
OK, now we're headed home.
Oh no! We're low on fuel. Fortunately we're passing right over your house. Quick! Strap on this parachute and jump!
Whew! Made it safely back home!
Hope you enjoyed your round-the-world tour today, Lysie. Happy Birthday!
You have no idea what this vacation means to me. I appreciate that you took the time to put such a lovely gift together for me. Thank you.
I told you all in an earlier post how we (ATRW) probably know more about each other than some of our own family members. Many Happy Birthday well wishes today from all of you. Thank you.
Let's see. How many from my family. :-)...Hubby...daughter and son....yes, yes, and yes. Hmmmm! My sister-in-law wrote me an e-mail this a.m.(Something she does, perhaps, twice a year)...Nope no Birthday greeting from her. That's ok. Let's try the mailbox. Ha!!! A birthday wish....from my hearing aid people. LOL
None from Dad and his wife, my Uncle and his wife. My m-i-l..nope. (That one is ok, 'cause she forgot her own son's) LOL
See? You people ARE like family...sometimes even better. :-)
Now, before all you start feeling bad for me... don't. I'm fine with it all...really. My reason was to express how much we at ATRW mean to each other.
Bless you and thank you.
Hold onto your hats!!! I would like to introduce myself:
Heeerrrrrrreeeeeeee's, lysie.
Taken pre-Atkins. See the chubby cheeks.
Mr. M., thanks for the hints on those last 4-5 #s...will pass them on to husband.
The family jungle tom-toms were working well yesterday:
Speaking to Son #1 in the afternoon, I told him about his father's good results due to diet...
A few hours later his uncle - husband's brother - called for more info. on the diet!
Which leads to another question: Can a VERY active exerciser - BIL is mountain biker and spinner -handle this diet, ie., no carbs for that needed quick energy???
Afternoon all.
Bit, thanks for those links...
AND....lysie - Love the photo!:-))
