Not a good morning here. I had to rush our cat to the vet. He has a urinary blockage. Sheesh!!! It happened so quickly. I clean the litter box once a day...everything appeared normal. Today I noticed he was trying but couldn't. If it was not caught as soon it could have been fatal. He may need to be catherized. :-(

We feed all our cats special urinary cat food and yet it this still happens. This is the second time this has happened to him and one of our other male cats had the same problem years ago. That one needed an operation to widen the pass through.

I know..more than you need to know. :-)

We get very poor reception of Fox, but I was listening to the game on the radio with the TV turned down. But I'm too nice of a dad. It's my youngest daughter's birthday and she wanted to watch her new move, Ice Age. I got booted out and just have the game on the radio.

Happy birthday to your daughter, Mr. M! That was some goat escapade you had awhile back and I'm glad that the dog was there to bring them home safely. I've been wondering if a decision has been reached with respect to that beautiful dog, Eliza, whose picture you posted. Also, congratulations on that job offer you've received. It sounds like it will be just the thing. What a great Christmas gift that was!

Speaking of Christmas gifts, Northern Yankee, your sister certainly is a rare gem to be so generous to all her family with such a wonderful trip for next Christmas. You not only have the trip itself, but the anticipation of it during the year ahead. What a blessing!
