What is up with only the pubbie women doing all the scut work? The two local campaigns I've really been involved with with, I was surrounded by ladies. Maybe the men have jobs or something going on, but the volunteers were 98% of the feminine persuasion.
Is this a universal phenomenon?

Women don't do all the work. Men help, too. But there are more women around during the daylight hours. And, women don't flinch at doing the menial tasks that must be done altho the task seems insignifigant.
The higher the level of office being attempted, the more likely there are men volunteering.
In a campaign where a woman is the candidate it is important to get some highly visable men involved (but this comes later,,, I've been giving instructions on lining up the 'Worker Bees'). Nothing will be accomplished without a list of reliable worker bees.
