Hi Palo... a little break.. I got all the engineering done and now I'm starting to sew.
It's getting warm up there tho.. I have the iron on, all the lights and the washer and dryer.. As I said..it's warming up. That room is best for sewing in the winter..when I'm not here..lol
I had a wonderful happening. It must be turning into a new cycle for us. I cut out my curtains, (three) and got my bolt of lining material out of the closet and cut the first piece and it fell off the bolt. Omg, I think..I'm not going to have enough lining for three.. I measured the lining material, and I couldn't believe it, there was "just" enough for two more curtains. Not one speck over or under. That was what I call lucky and almost unbelieveable. This bolt was huge originally..and thick and round like wrapping paper.
Needless to say, I'm one happy woman. I will have to buy more lining for the dining room tho..but that's ok, as I was saved by something this time..... lol
one happy, warm sewer, Gran

You have fun today being a domestic goddess. It maybe your only skill that will get you through old age, once your spitttting and whoring days are done. I'm sure AC can find some sails for you to mend ;-)
