Sorry I didn't get back to you on the last question on thread 19.. Power went out here in Orange county near myself at 5 P.M. we still had our phone, so we called the power company. The stats as they sat when we called were:
22,000 people without power
Four breaks in the power lines in and around my immediate area. (Johnson N.Y., Slate Hill, and Westtown all took rather nasty lightning strikes close aboard.)
Power was restored at 12:25 AM.
The drunks down the street had been singing alcohol and pot enhanced karaoke up until the power was restored... then they cheered "Power!".
My cat, however, shook and shivered under the blue velvet chair. Amazing that all of her could fit under it. She suddenly lost all fear of the fans once the thunder rolled through... then she was scarce.
