We do, but a whole-house fan does the trick unless it gets in the upper 90's, and the summers aren't that short, thank goodness or it would mean longer winters...

Just tuned out politics today.....(it was a very good day)
DID see Rummy on LIVE a few minutes ago at a Congressional Hearing....
..Spent the day tuning out....and poolside w/a cheap novel (nothing of edification :^) ...something about a cowboy & a school marm...(hey, that could be the story of our Pres. and First Lady :)

I live in the same house I grew up in...Mom has AC in her room...and I am now in fact trying to convince her to GO UP THERE NOW as she was complaining about her breathing today...UGHHHH.
I am just NOW at my ripe old age craving AC all the time....but the summers STILL aren't LONG ENOUGH FOR ME...I HATE SNOW.

Thank-you all for the prayers for daughter today!!!!
The procedure was OK, but the dye they injected caused discomfort for a little bit.
The good news is she's OK(clear)......and in good health for future reference (you ladies know what I mean)
I sent some of my homemade chocolate, that her hubby got to her, and she had some before the procedure, and some after, so she appreciated it :)
She's resting comfortably.

Well ... been out all day ... came to FR and saw a few familiar names on a thread over on the dark side ... so felt the need to jump in ... but now I have to go.
Oh! The test for my pup came back ... and they are inconclusive ... some numbers were a little high in regards to his liver ... something which can be corrected ... but she is still leaning toward epilepsy... *sigh* ...
OK ... maybe I can get back later ... have to take niece to work ...
